This movie is great. It teaches the value in staying true to your beliefs, Not quitting and making your own path. Strict ways of doing things can sometimes be changed and if you stick to your beliefs. You can succeed! It also shows the value of taking a different approach and that all of life does NOT have to be taken overly serious and the outcome, through dedication, can be just as good if not better.

Can't say enough about this man. Robin Williams can really take a character and make you know him. The real Patch Adams took a very dark side of the human experience (facing death) and made it bearable. Laughter is indeed the best medicine.
